Rebecca has experience with all phases of the construction process, whether it be a simple bathroom remodel, or a brand new construction build-out. Her personal style leans towards "transitional", mixing a bit of traditional with modern, and incorporating organic materials with textures, colors, and patterns. She has a keen eye for space planning, and can visualize the layout of a room and all of its elements, even while it's only on paper.
Rebecca has been doing interior design since she was a young child who rearranged her bedroom furniture every week. Her father was an interior designer, and opened "Laurelhurst Interiors" in the 1950's — so you could say designing is in her blood. After 30 successful years decorating homes, her father shifted his focus towards commercial real estate development and closed Laurelhurst Interiors. Rebecca grew up watching him sketch floorplans on napkins while at a diner, or following him to job sites where she saw all the action of construction.
She went on to get her degree in design, and spent 15 years doing corporate graphic design. But she really wanted to work on homes. So she started with a few of her own home "flips" and a couple of new construction projects, and was soon being asked by others to help with their projects. So she re-opened "Laurelhurst Interiors" and though her father passed away before she made the move, she knows he would be proud of "their" work.
