There are so many decisions to be made when doing a remodel or new construction project, from choosing tile (and then designing the tile layout), to ordering cabinets and countertops and knobs and door handles, to picking paint colors, and selecting lighting and plumbing fixtures, and so much more. Not only do you want to make sure your choices stay within budget, but that they all work together—both within a space, and with other rooms.
For many people this can be an overwhelming task. That's where Rebecca comes in. She first listens and learns about who you are, how you live day to day, and what you like. Then she starts putting together a SPEC BOOK for your project. No matter how big or small a project, there needs to be a plan.
First she starts with a collection of concepts, drawings and ideas for your spaces. The she narrows these down to actual products that are sourced, labeled and ordered, and ready for your builder to incorporate. Everything is included from colors, to the style of trim around doors and windows, and even exteriors solutions such as railing styles and walkway materials. There are a lot of details, and they are all included in the SPEC BOOK.
Do you feel like you are ready for a change in your home? Before you start spending money on new furniture, rugs, paint, etc, try a RE-DESIGN first. Rebecca will come in and rearrange the furniture, artwork, and small items in your home, stylizing it to better work within your spaces.
Maybe the painting above your sofa works better in the dining room, or the sofa should be facing the fireplace instead of the window. Often all you need is a fresh "eye" to see your room in a new way. Once everything in its place, she can then suggest whether something should be added or changed, such as throw pillows, paint colors, or even that new sofa (if it truly is time to change it up). But many times her clients find that just a little "tweaking" is all that was needed.
